Fancy a nice draw against Ludogorets is the next round. Not a massively strong side but probably better than any of the teams we have faced in the group.

It would be a brilliant trophy to win.
It not only qualifies us for Europe again next season but gives most of us the first chance to celebrate winning something as West Ham fans.
I have been quite shocked at the dismissive nature by some on here about this competition.
Roma & Feyenoord contested last years final and they are both bigger clubs with more history of winning things than us.
We have a chance but as mentioned by someone else on here there are also 3 or 4 other clubs that will fancy their chances.

Yes it did, and we got knocked out by Steau Bucharest ironically

I think the trophy is on par with the ECWC we did win so that's alright by me. Considering we've won bugger all else for 40 years I will take this everyday. For us to be competing as we have so far for the last two seasons has been miraculous in my eyes. Lack of a front man and squad depth and quality have still seen us progress, and I hope it carries on.

Best chance of getting into Europa League next season.
If we'd had another striker and Cresswell wasn't such a liability, we would have won it in May.

Last year was our best chance....
I don't think we would have any chance of competing in the Europa League now based on the sides still in it and those that have dropped down. We beat good teams on the way last season, just feel like that was our chance. Yes it's still raw!!!
As others have said, Fiorentina, Lazio, Villarreal will also be thinking they can win it.
There are some other top teams such as Nice, Basel, Braga.
No way is this going to be an easy route to getting to Europa League again.

Said it before ,Spurs did not get out the group stage playing kane n song. Lot of the teams we are better than as proven last year done okay in the champs league and villareal champs league semi finalists last year now in this . Its only the 2nd year give it time ,intertotto was just a qualifier for uefa , summer friendly really, this aint. Its the European league Cup.

It’s not a lot better than the intertoto but I remember how nice it get to win that back in 1998 (?) plus its a gateway to Europa proper so we must take it seriously. We have every chance of winning it

Lazio and Fiorentina if they win their play offs are still big clubs.
Hopefully we get some decent draws and get to play at home 2nd.
I’d love to win this trophy.
